   Learn the token model

   Solana NFTs are tokens with metadata accounts. Compressed NFTs store proofs instead of full accounts to cut costs.

   Expect spam

   Low fees make it cheap to airdrop junk. Unexpected NFTs often link to drainer pages.

   Use transaction previews

   Many wallets simulate the outcome. If the preview shows assets leaving that you did not intend, stop.

   Check the collection key

   Verified collection addresses are the anchor for authenticity on Solana.
